A range of courses tailored for
UTILITIES Sector
We provide a range of training courses tailored for the utilities sector, encompassing operative training, supervisor training, signage lighting & guarding, and re-assessment.

Our New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) courses cater to Operatives and Supervisors engaged in Excavation and Reinstatement of highways, as mandated by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. These courses are legally required for statutory undertakers like utility contractors and individuals operating under section 50 licences.

With extensive experience, Skill-fit has delivered crucial training to contractors and national organisations. We emphasize the significance of obtaining these statutory qualifications and offer constructive feedback on training as needed.

For projects falling under the NRSWA, at least one qualified operative must be present on every site, and a supervisor should be available for daily site visits. We provide comprehensive training to ensure compliance with these requirements.

These utility qualifications are commonly stipulated by client organisations and local authorities when selecting contractors for projects involving excavation or reinstatement of the highways for various purposes.
